This bottle is made with stainless steel 304, which used to be called 18/8, referring to its 18% chromium and 8% nickel composition
304 is the dominant grade used in applications like water bottles, sinks and saucepans
It is stainless not stain-impossible. Stainless steel is suitable to hold numerous liquids, but it can mark and corrode
Generally, acidic and high salt content liquids should be avoided
Compatibility and stability testing is required for products sold in stainless steel
We cannot advise on the suitability of stainless steel for liquid products. It is often used for soaps, shampoos, conditioners and lotions, but we have not conducted testing to demonstrate suitability of stainless 304 for these products
If you choose to use these stainless steel bottles for liquids, make sure to check for marking or corrosion
